HOW TO IMPLEMENT YOUR VISION WITH LIGHT SPEED

HOW TO IMPLEMENT YOUR VISION WITH LIGHT SPEED

Great leaders embrace collective wisdom resulting in magical team performance. When team members have a partnership with a servant leader the implementation of the leader’s vision becomes aligned with the energy of the team. Taping into the collective wisdom of the doers will give the servant leader the vital feedback in formulating an action plan for future high performing business systems.

Servant leadership requires courage, selflessness and maturity. The organization doesn’t seek out the risks, the leader is the one that takes them. The rewards of this style of leadership however, creates the conditions for an excellence response of team members. It will also become clear if re-organizing the org chart is important when vital functions aren’t being accomplished.

Servant Leaders Know the Importance of Collaboration

The most important role of the servant leader is keeping everyone focused on the behaviors that triggers vital team member performance. When collaborating with stakeholders the leader will know which job functions to   hand off .

When collaborating with team members it is important that the servant leader communicate how it will work to the team in getting to the envisioned destination. Key influencers of the team can have a perpetual fountain of new ideas, which has its benefits. But, the servant leader needs to narrow the focus of the organization to the vital things that will further the action plan. One way to accomplish this is to put money in the projects that are in alignment with the goal. De-funding non -mission critical activities will hold the team and the servant leader accountable along the way.

In day- to- day business operations, there can be blind spots in the activities needed for achieving the action plan. Sometimes it takes an outsider’s viewpoint to see the obvious. Seek out the advice of an expert that doesn’t have bias about your organization. Consider partnering with a business coach or consultant.
