HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR MINDSET
One of the bigger challenges in achieving goals is in improving your mindset. This is a very important area that I can help you in my coaching process. You will soon uncover your deeper strengths and discover areas that you would like to improve. Becoming self-aware is a great step in re-gaining lost confidence in your natural abilities. Improving your mindset will change your attitude into a positive one.
HERE ARE 5 SUGGESTIONS TO IMPROVE YOUR MINDSET
1. IMPROVE YOUR SELF TALK
Have you ever noticed that waking up on the “wrong side of the bed” sets the tone for your entire day? If kept unchecked, you can actually attract circumstances as a result of your thoughts and behaviors, good or bad. Our thoughts and perceptions are powerful. They create feelings, which leads to actions and behaviors that determine whether our day goes well or not. I have thoughtful exercises to help you to uncover new perceptions that will then create a whole new reality.
TAKE ACTION: Set aside five minutes to make sure your thoughts are positive. This will help you start your in the right mindset.
2. ADOPT THE WINNING MINDSET OF THE ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE
You can easily improve your mindset in creating a gratitude list. Set a timer on your smart phone and write down five things you are grateful for. According to leading researchers, keeping a gratitude journal contributes to a positive life attitude, and makes us feel better, sleep better and even have stronger immune systems.
TAKE ACTION: Try for a different list each day, and at the end of the week you will be surprised how this helps your mindset.
3. IMPROVE YOUR INTENTIONS AND IMPROVE YOUR LIFE
Before leaving home set an intention of how you want the day to end. How do you want the actions you accomplish today to make you feel at the end of the day? How do you want to feel about your relationships and what can you do today to improve them? What is one thing you can do that will make you feel better at the end of the day?
TAKE ACTION: Create new intentions for growth and improvement. I will help you devise an action plan to implement the changes with my guided coaching process.
4. IMPROVE ON YOUR ABILITY TO BE CALM AND PEACEFUL
Find opportunities to tune out the noise and be calm. Noise is everywhere, including the music playing at the gas pumps. Try your morning commute without the radio playing. Take a 20- minute walk without your phone. The point is, give your brain a chance to cultivate creativity without the constant distractions of the day. The best solutions to problems will reveal themselves after peaceful contemplation. This is another ingredient for improving your mindset.
TAKE ACTION: Just for today, on your lunch break take a 20-minute walk without the distraction of your smart phone and mobile listening device. Breath in the fresh air and let your mind separate from work in that 20-minute walk/vacation. When you return to work you will be surprised at your new energy level that will finish off your day.
