HOW TO REDUCE ANXIETY DURING UNCERTAIN TIMES

How Courageous Leaders Move Through Fear

HOW TO REDUCE ANXIETY DURING UNCERTAIN TIMES

#Intelligent mind- #ericmiller, #emotionalintelligence
It’s clear that we are going through uncertain times and great change is around the corner. We are being pulled into a future that is changing much faster than we realize. Courageous leaders have fears regarding change just like everyone else. The way in which they experience it, however, is much different. What makes these people stand out in a crowd? They have developed their intelligent mind.

Emotional Mind – Analytical Mind – Intelligent Mind

The ability to face and adapt to rapid change has become essential.  Learning to cope with anxiety requires a set of skills and habits that can be developed and mastered by anyone. Connecting with our genuine self while developing emotional intelligence enables us to embrace change while leading ourselves and influencing change in others.

The analytical mind wants to figure out the details of why you are in a high-risk situation and what action to take. This is the responsible mind that evaluates everything that you encounter. Unfortunately, it also wants to overthink everything as well. People who “live in their heads,” so to speak, have high anxiety and have a hard time managing stress. Some find managing their tempers challenging.

The emotional mind is the reactive mind. By itself, it can cause you to overreact in a situation. This mind also doesn’t think about the consequences. People that rely on their emotional mind, tend to suffer from depression. They can also have issues with anxiety and managing anger.

The intelligent mind combines information from the analytical and emotional minds. It is often called the critical thinking mind. Courageous leaders have mastered their emotions and tap into their intelligent mind during times of high stress. They have the ability to think clearly and push through limiting beliefs using their intelligent mind. They are free in this state and able to live authentically.

TAP INTO THE POWER OF THE INTELLIGENT MIND USING CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS

Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself, bit.ly/coachinglineup, #coachinglineup
First of all, what is Critical Thinking? Critical thinking is not thinking harder or being critical of others. Being able to critically observe ideas before acting on intuition will allow you to consider all of your options using your intelligent mind. In short, critical thinking is self-directed, self-disciplined, self-monitoring, and self-corrective thinking. It allows you to undergo a series of thoughts and mindful commands to solve problems and make commitments that aren’t solely based solely on emotional and analytical minds.

Critical thinking is one of the most important qualities that entrepreneurs, professionals, and leaders can possess. Having these skills will help you to analyze information accurately so you can greatly reduce anxiety.
