Trash Limiting Beliefs and Values and Get What You Really Want
I recently watched a fantastic Netflix documentary called “The Last Dance.” It was about the rise of NBA superstar Michael Jordan. I’m an 80’s kid and grew up watching his meteoric rise. Oftentimes, we don’t know about the personal trials and tribulations that our heroes go through in order to achieve goals. He made it look quite easy even though he endured setbacks such as injuries, the loss of his father, conflicts with management, and attacks by the media. Michael didn’t allow circumstances to create limiting beliefs that would prevent him from being a top athlete. He focused and accomplished what he set out to do: win! He is a man of grit and resilience.
We are currently being presented with opportunities to adapt, change, and grow as a result of the world’s current circumstances. One of my significant breakthroughs occurred when I discovered that perceptions of events are influenced by emotions, thoughts, and beliefs. If we choose to leverage “bad” events, we can get what we ultimately want.

Perhaps now is the time to leverage the current world circumstances so you can restart, get back on track, and sprint toward your bigger vision.
