I help people who feel spiritually off-track find purpose again. Whether I’m writing, listening over coffee, or chasing sunrise on my bike, I’m all about helping others live with more meaning, joy, and a little wind-in-your-face freedom.
I’ve worn many hats—U.S. Army aviator, entrepreneur, author, speaker—but beneath them all is one calling: helping people find meaning, purpose, and connection beyond themselves.
My path has held success and heartbreak. I’ve faced addiction and loss, built businesses, and led teams, learning that external achievement means little when the inner life is ignored. Real change began when I moved from self-reliance to surrender—listening inwardly and allowing the sacred to guide my steps.
That conviction fuels everything I do: sitting with people who seek God’s presence; defending truth and democracy; writing Allied We Can Find Common Ground to help people navigate division with courage and compassion. It also drives Allied We Can, the coalition I founded to help people think critically and bridge divides, and New Mindset Pathways, my spiritual-direction practice guiding individuals and groups through seasons of uncertainty, growth, and deeper discovery. Above all, I aim to serve with joy.
Through years of service, leadership, recovery, and quiet reflection, I’ve come to see a simple truth again and again: the world doesn’t change because we argue better or speak louder. It changes when people become more grounded, more self-aware, and more spiritually awake to what is true and good.
That’s why I now dedicate my life’s work to spiritual direction—creating space for people to slow down, breathe, and listen for the movements of the Spirit in their real, everyday lives. This isn’t about fixing someone. It’s about noticing, aligning, and responding to what calls us deeper.
Over time, this kind of attentive living reshapes the way we lead, love, and make decisions. It forms us into people who can show up—with integrity, courage, and compassion—in our families, workplaces, and communities. Not perfectly, but honestly, and with hearts ready to serve rather than control.
Feeling spiritually disconnected or unsure where God is? I offer one-on-one spiritual direction to help you slow down, listen beneath the noise, and discern where the Spirit is gently leading your life.
Feeling unfocused or off-purpose? Spiritual coaching helps you set goals, build rhythms, and take practical steps toward living your values. It’s about movement, accountability, and aligning your life with what matters most.
I teach spiritually centered practices that ground the soul—and I help people navigate hard conversations in a polarized world with courage, clarity, and compassion.
Feeling alone in your questions? Group spiritual direction offers a quiet circle to listen, share, and notice God together. No fixing—just honest stories, silence, and sacred companionship on the journey.
Group spiritual coaching brings people together to set intentions, build healthy rhythms, and stay accountable. It’s a space for shared growth—where goals, and real-life action meet in community, not in isolation.
